2 Cans Black Beans
1 lb smoke sausage of your choice
1 bag of brown rice or 1 box of Uncle Ben’s Rice
1 Can of Rotel Tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste…- I use a cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
Slice up the sausage in thin portions, add oil to medium size stew pot, warm up the oil then add the sausage to brown, then add the can of Rotel, let cook on medium heat for 2 minutes, then add the black beans, add seasoning or salt and pepper and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Rice: I would following the directions on the package for the brown rice. I usually cook an entire bag then freeze the left overs for future meals. Uncle Bens is quick and easier for a quick meal.
Put beans and sausage over rice and enjoy!
Feeds 4 people for about 7 to 8 dollars.

Movie Candy - 3 for $1.00 at Walgreens
I went into Walgreens today to pick up a prescription and saw this hugh display of “Movie Candy”. Not sure about you guys, but my husband and I always like to sneak in our own candy when we go to the movies. Not too crazy about paying $3.50 for a box of candy.
Well, Walgreens has movie candy – 3 for $1.00.
I’m not sure how long this lasts or if it’s an everyday thing, so better get on over there and load up before you head to the movies this weekend.
